National Excellence. Untapped Multicultural Pipeline.
UMBC had established itself as a national model for inclusive excellence. The enrollment challenge was about pipeline depth — ensuring that first-generation students, minority students, and underrepresented communities were receiving coordinated, compelling outreach that matched the institution's actual commitment.
The team sought a partner who understood both the nuance of multicultural outreach and the technical infrastructure of modern enrollment signal campaigns.
Where They Read. Where They Scroll. Where They Decide.
EnrollForge activated a publishing and digital network built specifically around minority student audiences — positioning UMBC in editorial environments where its highest-priority prospects were already spending time. Not advertising — actual editorial presence in trusted publications.
Layered on top was a social media campaign strategy aligned to the platform behavior patterns of first-generation and multicultural student prospects.
A Coordinated Outreach System
The campaign was structured across three coordinated layers — each designed to move a different segment of the prospect population from awareness to action.
Pipeline Depth. Community Presence. Institutional Trust.
The engagement produced meaningful expansion in multicultural prospect exposure across publishing and digital platforms. Social campaign engagement increased from targeted outreach cohorts.
This engagement reinforced UMBC's position as an institution that showed up where underrepresented students actually were.
